The Linde HyPower 24V Fuel Cell system has been specially designed for use in in-house material flow. The precise coordination with the high-performance lithium-ion battery of the fuel cell hybrid system protects the fuel cell stacks and ensures a long operating life. Thanks to the short refueling times of between two and three minutes, trucks are quickly ready for use again, which has a positive effect in multi-shift operations. Furthermore, the fuel cell system is noise-optimized, which means that drivers can work in a relaxed manner. Another advantage is the system’s networking capability: The trucks can exchange data about their condition and usage with applications in the cloud via the Internet. As with all other vehicles, maintenance and servicing are carried out reliably via the close-meshed, competent Linde network. The fuel cell system is particularly suitable for large fleets with high annual operating hours and multi-shift operation.

With its robust, high-performance Linde HyPower 24V, Linde Material Handling is now in a position to offer the first fuel cell system of its own as a one-stop-shop. On request, customers of the intralogistics specialist can obtain a complete solution consisting of a fuel cell hybrid industrial truck, fuel cell system and service. Providing a voltage of 24V and 1.8 kW of power, the stacks will initially be used in horizontal and vertical order pickers as well as Linde-branded tow tractors, and in the future will also be deployed in pallet trucks and double stackers.
